Stihl KM 131 R Kombi Engine Trimmer
As our most powerful KombiMotor in the Stihl KombiSystem family, the KM 131 R features a low-emission engine and even lower mercy. Switching between optional attachments is quick and easy, just slide and twist and you’re ready to dominate your daily landscaping tasks. The only thing easier is leaving your older, bulkier power tools behind.

- Loop handle: The loop handled grass trimmers and brush cutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited
- Stihl 4-MIX engine: Stihl 4-MIX engine technology provides fast acceleration, more power, added torque, lower noise, reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency to complete jobs quickly, quietly and more easily
- Split shaft: With a split shaft and special toolless quick-release coupling, the KombiSystem is highly versatile, easily transported and easy to store
- Anti-vibration system: Stihl has a system for minimizing the vibration levels of handheld outdoor power equipment. The Stihl anti-vibration system helps reduce operator fatigue and provides a more comfortable working experience
- Electronic Ignition Module: The electronic ignition provides reliable starting and because it is fully enclosed, it is protected from moisture and debris for longer service life
- Purge Pump Primer: A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor when pushed, reducing the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operation
- Multi-Function Control Handle: Having easy access to all of the controls on one comfortable handle help makes it easier to complete tasks so the operator’s hand never has to leave the handle
- Quick-release coupling: The quick-release coupling allows the KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage and then re-assembled quickly without tools
- Shoulder strap/carrying system: Using a Stihl shoulder strap or carrying harness with soft padding makes work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs
